Responsible practice

Last updated August 27, 2026

CardCount is built for skill practice—not for encouraging more gambling. Training should stay deliberate, bounded, and separate from money play.

Keep simulation separate

Training wagers and bankrolls are fictional and have no cash value. Practice results do not predict what you will win or lose in a casino. Card counting does not remove the house edge in every game and never eliminates variance or risk.

Set boundaries before playing

If you choose to gamble elsewhere, decide your time and money limits before you begin, never borrow to gamble, and never chase a loss. Treat gambling as paid entertainment, not income. Follow the law and the rules of the venue where you are playing.

Notice warning signs

Pause if gambling is causing stress, secrecy, debt, conflict, missed responsibilities, or repeated attempts to win back losses. A practice streak or leaderboard position is never a reason to gamble with real money.

Get help

If gambling no longer feels controlled, contact a qualified local support service or healthcare professional. In the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is available by call or text at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738). If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Our product boundary

CardCount does not connect to casinos, place bets, recommend bet sizes for real-money play, or reward users with money or redeemable value. You can contact support@cardcount.app with product-safety concerns.
